Job Overview & Responsibilities

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Bilingual Business Analyst (Japanese & English) to support initiatives focused on the Japan market. This role plays a critical part in bridging business needs and technical solutions by gathering requirements, improving processes, and ensuring effective communication across stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Business Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to collect, analyze, and document business requirements, ensuring alignment with business objectives and project goals.
• Business Process Analysis & Mapping: Create clear and detailed business process flows to visualize workflows, identify gaps, and propose improvements for efficiency and scalability.
• User Story Development: Translate business requirements into well-defined user stories and acceptance criteria to ensure shared understanding among development teams.
• Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary point of contact for consolidating requirements across Japan market leads, ensuring clarity, alignment, and timely communication.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with teams across marketing, sales, IT, and operations to support the execution of business initiatives and system enhancements.
• Performance Measurement: Define, track, and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the effectiveness of implemented solutions and recommend continuous improvements.
• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date documentation including requirements, process diagrams, and project updates for transparency and future reference.

Job Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
• From 1 year of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within technology or healthcare domains.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret and present complex data clearly.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Hands-on experience with business analysis methodologies and tools, including process mapping and user story creation.
• Solid understanding of the Japan market is highly desirable.
• Must be strong proficiency in both Japanese and English (spoken and written).

Other information

Remote working (full-time): 9 PM – 6 PM (Mon - Fri)
Max Rate/Offer: open to nego, depending on the experience and skills
Duration: 2 months at the 1st contractor
Contract renewal based on the project (can be 6 months more)
Expected onboarding date: ASAP (must | After offering)
