Data Analyst
Cennext Inc., a leading BPO company headquartered in Hanoi, Vietnam, is hiring a junior-level Data Analyst to join its Sourcing & Marketing Operations team. This is a remote position within Vietnam with flexible shifts, including options for day or night work. The role involves analyzing purchasing data, supplier performance, and marketing activity to support pricing decisions and drive operational efficiency. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver data-driven insights and help optimize sourcing strategies and marketing campaigns. Compensation includes a competitive salary (with 85% during a 2-month probation), annual reviews, a 13th-month bonus, performance incentives, social insurance, transport support, and access to wellness programs.
The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as Applied Mathematics or Computer Science, with at least 1 year of experience in data analysis or quantitative modeling. A strong command of English at B2 level or higher is required. Technical proficiencies include SQL, Python, SAS, R, and familiarity with machine learning techniques such as regression models, decision trees, and time series analysis. Candidates should be analytical self-starters with critical thinking skills and a desire to work in a fast-paced, startup-like environment.

Analyze purchasing data, assess supplier performance and sourcing processes to optimize costs and enhance supply chain efficiency.
Analyze and optimize marketing activities through data, supporting effective campaigns and marketing operations.
Actively participate in pricing decisions by providing data-driven insights, formulating optimization proposals, setting up experiments, and evaluating results.
Support leadership in making strategic and tactical decisions based on extensive data analysis.
Help to manage the collection of pricing and competitive market data by working directly with external data miners to obtain data needed to build research.
Participate in the development of methodology for defining key metrics, related tables, and needed calculations.
Requirements
Technical mindset and (at least) a Bachelor's degree in Technical Science: Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, or other related field. Strong knowledge of mathematics and basic knowledge of mathematical statistics.
Proficiency in English at a level not lower than B2 (must)
1+ years of experience in quantitative modeling, development, or implementation.
Working experience in data manipulation and advanced data analysis.
Experience with SAS, R, Python, and proficiency working with large datasets is required.
Applied experience with Logistic Regression, Linear Regression, Survival Analysis, Time Series Analysis, Decision Trees, and Cluster Analysis.
Experience as an analyst/data scientist, preferably in B2B/B2C marketplaces.
Hands-on experience with SQL and Python for processing and analysis (must).
Critical thinking ability to perceive complex, ambiguous, abstract requirements and break them down into smaller components, schemes, types, and characteristics.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and be a self-starter. Ability to work effectively in a team, both in a leadership and support role.
Willingness to work in a startup environment with constantly evolving goals.

Working Hours
Choose one of the fixed shifts (Weekends off: 4 Sundays and 2 Saturdays per month):
- 7:00 PM – 4:00 AM
- 9:30 AM – 6:30 PM
- 12:00 PM – 9:00 PM
