DevOps Engineer
Hconnect is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join their team remotely, supporting operations from the Hanoi Capital Region. This is a full-time role offering a competitive monthly salary of $2,000–$3,000. The successful candidate will be instrumental in designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation. Responsibilities include managing cloud and on-premise infrastructure, developing Infrastructure as Code (IaC), guiding junior engineers, and staying current on the latest DevOps advancements. Candidates should possess at least a bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field along with 3+ years of DevOps experience or at least 5+ years in DevOps-related roles. Required technical skills include expertise in cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure, IaC tools like Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, or Bicep, and proficiency in programming languages like Python, Bash, or Golang. Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and DevSecOps best practices is essential. Strong English communication skills and a track record of leading teams are also key qualifications.

Job Overview And Responsibility
- Design, implement, and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation frameworks
- Familiar with cloud native development such as microservices with container related technologies (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes)
- Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or equivalent.
- Manage and monitor cloud/on-prem infrastructure to ensure compliance, security, and availability.
- Collaborate with team members to identify and solve complex problems
- Rapid prototyping the proof of concept to validate solutions
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in DevOps related technologies
- Senior engineers are expected to lead and mentor junior members
Required Skills and Experience
- Degree or postgraduate degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering or equivalent
- Fluent English communication skills
- 3+ years of solid experience as a DevOps engineer or 5+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps related positions
- Manage and operate applications/services in on-premise and cloud environments
- Some experience with or good knowledge in the following:
- Cloud provider: AWS / Azure
- IaC tools: Terraform, OpenTofu, Ansible, CloudFormation, Bicep
- Programming Language: Python, Bash, Golang
- Containerization related: Docker, Kubernetes
- DevSecOps best practices
- Proven track of technical leadership role
