Freelance English into Vietnamese Patent Translator
TransPerfect tuyển dụng cộng tác viên dịch thuật sáng chế từ tiếng Anh sang tiếng Việt tại Việt Nam. Công việc chủ yếu là dịch và hiệu đính các tài liệu lĩnh vực hóa chất, dược phẩm bằng hình thức làm việc từ xa tự do, với sự phối hợp cùng quản lý dự án và đội ngũ ngôn ngữ. Ứng viên sẽ đảm nhận bản dịch cuối cùng trước khi gửi khách hàng và được yêu cầu tuân thủ nghiêm ngặt quy định bảo mật, chất lượng.
Ứng viên cần thành thạo tiếng Anh, tiếng Việt, có chuyên môn hoặc kinh nghiệm trong lĩnh vực sáng chế, hóa chất, dược phẩm. Yêu cầu có bằng đại học ngành liên quan, tối thiểu 2 năm kinh nghiệm dịch thuật hoặc vượt qua bài kiểm tra dịch/MTPE miễn phí và ký cam kết bảo mật. Ưu tiên sinh sống tại múi giờ châu Á.

Position Summary: Linguists are key players at TransPerfect. Your particular language skill and subject matter expertise will allow you to create and finalize the end product before it goes to the client. Under the guidance of your manager and in collaboration with Project Managers, you’ll be responsible for translating and proofreading documents pertaining to a variety of clients. TransPerfect offers the possibility to work remotely anywhere in the world.
In order to meet the translation needs of our international clients, we are currently looking to expand our database of freelance linguists who translate:
From English into Vietnamese in the following field/specialization: Chemical and/or Pharmaceutical Patent
Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Vietnamese.
- Specialized in any of the field above.
- Acute attention to detail, spelling, and grammar.
- Ability to maintain professionalism in all situations, especially under tight deadlines.
- Asian time zone preferred.
Candidates MUST also fulfill any ONE of the following requirements:
- A Degree in Translation, Linguistics, or Language Studies or an equivalent degree that includes significant translation training, from a recognized institution of higher education;
- 2 years of translation experience and a college degree;
- 5 years of translation experience and no college degree; or
- A certificate of competence in translation awarded by an appropriate government body.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Applicants will be asked to sign a confidentiality agreement and complete free Translation and MTPE tests respectively to evaluate their skills.
