Full Stack Developer
Away /Digital Home/, a dynamic Australian software platform transforming the homebuilding experience, is seeking a Full Stack Developer with expertise in Golang and NodeJS. This is a remote or hybrid position based in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, offering a full-time contract. You will collaborate closely with front-end teams, develop backend services, integrate data storage systems, and enhance the performance and security of a web application that allows customers to visualize and customize their home design. Applicants should have 5+ years of development experience working with Golang and NodeJS, and a strong command of JavaScript, web stacks, and related frameworks. Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving capabilities, and proficiency in written and spoken English are also essential. Availability to resolve urgent technical issues outside of standard hours is a plus.

About the Role
We are looking for a highly capable Fullstack Developer (Golang + NodeJS) to optimize our web-based application performance. You will be collaborating with our front-end application developers, designing back-end components, and integrating data storage and protection solutions. To ensure success for this role, you should possess extensive knowledge of Golang and NodeJS-based services and experience in a similar role.
Responsibilities
- Developing and maintaining all server-side network components.
- Ensuring optimal performance of the central database and responsiveness to front-end requests.
- Collaborating with front-end developers on the integration of elements.
- Designing customer-facing UI and back-end services for various business processes.
- Developing high-performance applications by writing testable, reusable, and efficient code.
- Implementing effective security protocols, data protection measures, and storage solutions.
- Running diagnostic tests, repairing defects, and providing technical support.
- Recommending and implementing improvements to processes and technologies.
Qualifications
- At least 5+ years' experience as a Golang and NodeJS developer.
- Extensive knowledge of JavaScript, web stacks, libraries, and frameworks.
- Knowledge of front-end technologies such as HTML5 and CSS3 etc.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving aptitude.
- Great organizational and time management skills.
- Availability to resolve urgent web application issues outside of business hours.
- Fluent in English (verbal & written).
