Fullstack Engineer
Second Talent, a global human resources and talent acquisition firm headquartered in Singapore, is seeking a Remote Fullstack Engineer based in Vietnam. This is a full-time contract role that primarily involves designing and developing scalable web applications and systems for U.S.-based clients, with a strong focus on Node.js. The successful candidate will collaborate with an international team of developers, product managers, and designers, contributing to the architecture and modernization of core applications. Working hours are aligned with U.S. Eastern Standard Time during probation (approx. 11:00 PM – 1:30 AM Vietnam Time), with potential flexibility afterward. Compensation ranges from $1,500 to $2,500 USD/month.
Candidates must have at least 5 years of professional software development experience, with deep expertise in Node.js and building RESTful APIs. Experience with JavaScript and TypeScript is preferred, and working knowledge of cloud-based services (GCP, AWS, or Azure) and CI/CD pipelines using Git is a plus. Familiarity with frontend tools like ReactJS will also be highly valued. A solid understanding of scalable system design and strong collaboration skills are essential for success in this globally distributed team.

Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using Node.js.
- Collaborate on migrating legacy systems to modern, decoupled architectures.
- Implement backend services and RESTful APIs to support web and mobile applications.
- Work with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, customer-focused solutions.
- Optimize application performance and ensure scalability.
- Integrate cloud services and utilize Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or similar cloud technologies (AWS, Azure).
Requirements:
Experience: Minimum 5+ years of professional software development experience.
Technical Skills:
- Strong expertise in Node.js.
- Solid experience with API development and integration.
