Java Solution Architect

House of Craftism, a creative agency known for its strategic and innovative approach to branding and digital solutions, is seeking a Java Solution Architect for a 6-month remote contract based in the APAC region. As part of a global team, this role focuses on designing and building scalable backend systems and microservices. Key responsibilities include defining development standards, mentoring team members, leading code reviews, and enhancing CI/CD pipelines and cloud adoption. Working collaboratively with cross-functional teams, you will also manage project delivery and ensure high-quality performance and security standards. The position follows a 1 PM – 10 PM IST time zone schedule.

Ideal candidates will have extensive expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and Hibernate/JPA, along with hands-on experience in cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure. Proficiency in Oracle SQL, REST APIs, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tools is required, as well as previous exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies and technical leadership. Familiarity with Apache Kafka, front-end frameworks (React.js, Angular), Node.js, and experience in DevOps or test automation are advantageous but not mandatory.
