Lead Java Software Engineer
Vị trí này thuộc Edge8, làm việc từ xa tại Việt Nam, hợp đồng toàn thời gian, đảm nhận vai trò lãnh đạo trong phát triển phần mềm, chịu trách nhiệm quy trình end-to-end, định hướng kỹ thuật, đổi mới kiến trúc và đảm bảo chất lượng hệ thống. Ứng viên cần có tối thiểu 15 năm kinh nghiệm Java, SQL/ORM, 10 năm microservices và container orchestration, 8 năm phát triển frontend (React, JS). Yêu cầu thêm kinh nghiệm AI, kiến thức hạ tầng (Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes), tiếng Anh lưu loát và từng làm leader hoặc manager ít nhất 3-5 năm.

Primary Description:
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic leadership in the development of complex software solutions, maintaining and supporting critical solutions
- Own the end-to-end development process, from design to production deployment
- Lead, mentor and support other software engineers and team members
- Drive innovation and propose transformative architectural changes to enhance system performance and reliability
- Take the lead in making critical architectural decisions, considering long-term impacts on the project and organization
- Collaborate with senior management to align architectural strategies with business objectives
- Engage in strategic discussions with key stakeholders to influence technology direction
- Demonstrate a high level of technical expertise in designing scalable, high-performance systems
- Set and enforce architectural standards, ensuring adherence across the development team
- Solve complex technical problems and provide innovative solutions
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and team growth
- Lead root cause analysis and implement preventative measures
- Set and enforce high standards for code quality and system reliability
- Take ownership of application security, integrity, and confidentiality
- Manage relationships with third-party vendors at a strategic level
- Plan, prioritize, and estimate incoming work for the team
Key Requirements:
- Working hours: 8 hours per day, including 4 flexible hours during the day and 4 fixed hours at night (8:00 PM–12:00 AM)
- Fluency in English, excellent interpersonal (verbal and written) communication
- 15+ years of professional Enterprise Java web application experience, framework experience: Spring Boot, Hibernate, etc
- 15+ years SQL and/or ORM development experience (preferably PostgreSQL)
- 10+ years developing microservices, message queues, and container orchestration
- 8+ years front-end development: modern JavaScript, HTML/CSS, React, etc
- 3-5+ years of professional experience as a Lead Software Engineer or Engineering Manager
- AI development experience, including creating AI Agents, RAG, and use of LLM
- Infrastructure experience: Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, Redis, etc
- Additional experience: Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Maven, Git, etc
- Full stack web application development experience in a fast-paced environment
- Professional web application architecture experience, designing for capacity and scalability
- Full lifecycle software development experience using Agile/Scrum
- Excellent decision-making, problem-solving, and analytical skills
- Experience doing discovery, use case analysis, and communication with key stakeholders
- REST API development experience
