Lead Sales & Operations Planning Manager (REMOTE)

Experience scaling CPG or consumer businesses and strong communication skills for translating analytics to leadership are required. In this role, you will have a significant impact on how our partner company plans and makes decisions across their rapid growth. You will own critical demand forecasting and translate complex data into insights that drive informed leadership decisions on growth, inventory, and risk management. This position requires both independent and collaborative work, emphasizing clarity and structure amid evolving challenges. \n- Own and maintain the demand forecast across DTC and retail channels with minimal oversight
- Build, run, and maintain statistical forecasts using planning tools and historical data
- Continuously improve forecast accuracy and reduce bias by channel, customer, and SKU
- Identify drivers of forecast error, proactively surface risks, and recommend corrective actions
- Incorporate promotional activity, marketing plans, and new product development milestones into forward-looking forecasts
- Translate approved demand plans into high-level supply and procurement strategies
- Partner closely with the Supply Chain Analyst on inventory health and risk reviews
- Prepare executive-ready materials for S&OP and leadership meetings
- 5+ years of experience in demand planning, supply planning, and/or S&OP
- Strong experience supporting retail and omnichannel businesses (DTC + wholesale)
- Advanced Excel skills
- Experience in scaling consumer or CPG businesses with a comfort for imperfect data
- Ability to fully own a forecast end-to-end and operate independently
- Strong analytical skills and detail-oriented approach
- Effective communicator who can translate data into clear insights for senior stakeholders
- Experience with ERP and planning systems; knowledge of Atomic, NetSuite, and/or Forecast Pro is a plus
- Thrives in a fast-paced, fully remote, cross-functional environment
- Base salary range of $90,000-$110,000, depending on experience, plus bonus eligibility
