Python/Django Full-Stack Developer
Qlay Technologies, Inc., a global tech solutions company headquartered in San Francisco, is hiring a remote Full-Stack Developer to work with one of its French startup clients focused on AI solutions for biodiversity and climate change. This full-time contractor role is fully remote from Vietnam and offers a monthly salary starting at $1,300 USD gross, along with paid vacations and an annual bonus equivalent to one month’s salary. You’ll work closely with the CTO to build and maintain the company’s first “Biodiversity” web application, collaborating with global teams to convert business needs into scalable digital solutions.
Ideal candidates will have 4–5 years of full-stack development experience, with strong skills in Python, Django, ReactJS, and familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure. Proficiency in HTML/CSS, JavaScript, and tools like Docker is essential. A working-level command of English is required, and applicants from top Vietnamese or global universities are preferred. The ideal developer is analytical, proactive, and adaptable to fast-paced environments, with a passion for high-quality code.
This is a contractor role requiring a 40-hour work week, and candidates must use their own devices. Secondary jobs are not permitted. Expectation for the Role
Together with the CTO, you will be responsible for the development of the first version of our "Biodiversity" solution and play an important role in the technical structure currently being formed, deepening your skills in these areas, which includes:
- Collaborate with the entire development team to translate the needs expressed by the founders and clients into relevant applications.
- Ensure the maintenance and regular updates of existing applications.
- Stay up-to-date on technological trends and developments to propose optimal solutions.
- Design and develop innovative web applications using Front-End and Back-End concepts.

Must Have Requirements
Preferably graduate from top Vietnamese universities (HCMUT, HCMUS, HUST, UIT, etc.) and/ or top universities around the world.
4-5 years experience as Full-Stack Developer
Strong experience in Django framework
Experience with ReactJS and Cloud-based platform (AWS, Azure)
Language: Working-level proficiency in English
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Curious, autonomous, and constantly staying up-to-date in your field.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment. Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality software.
Monthly Salary Range
From 1,300 USD Gross/Month
