What Your Day-to-day Will Look Like
- Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable test automation frameworks and test suites.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test strategies and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Analyze complex software systems and identify automation opportunities.
- Execute automated test scripts and report defects.
- Monitor and maintain test automation environments.
- Mentor and guide junior QA engineers.
- Continuously evaluate and adopt new tools and technologies for QA process enhancement.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to the overall QA strategy.
The Skills And Traits We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance with automation testing focus.
- Proficiency in Java, Python, C#, or similar programming languages.
- Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, JUnit, TestNG.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, Agile/Scrum experience is a plus.
- Software testing certification (e.g., ISTQB) desirable.
