Job Overview
The Sales & Customer Service Executive is responsible for maintaining strong relationships with existing high-profile clients, proactively identifying new business opportunities within the Vietnamese luxury market, and providing professional customer service throughout the logistics process. This role requires solid industry experience, strong coordination skills, and the ability to handle customers with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities & Duties
Sales Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new customers for logistics services (domestic and/or international transportation, freight forwarding for high value goods – diamonds, jewellery, watches…).
- Prepare quotations, Follow up on leads, customer inquiries, and sales opportunities.
- Conducting sales calls and client visits to drive business growth.
- Maintain and grow long-term relationships with existing clients.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets as assigned.
Customer Service Responsibilities
- Act as the main point of contact for customers from booking to shipment completion.
- Coordinate with operations and vendors to ensure smooth shipments.
- Provide timely updates on shipment status, delays, or issues.
- Handle customer feedback, complaints, and service recovery professionally.
- Keeping customers informed about company updates, new products, pricing, policies, and operational changes.
Coordination & Reporting
- Handle in-house system data entry.
- Coordinate with OPS team to prepare documents for terminals in Hanoi.
- Prepare sales reports, customer performance reports, and forecasts.
- Support management with market information and customer insights.
- Travelling as and when required for domestics/overseas business trips and events.
Any other related functions to shipments co-ordination and ad-hoc duties as assigned by the superior.
Desired Skills & Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, International Trade, Business Administration, or related field.
- At least 3–5 years of experience in sales and/or customer service in logistics, freight forwarding, or transportation, security services.
- Good communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills with a customer-oriented mindset.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple accounts, and meet deadlines.
- Good communication skills in Vietnamese and English (written and spoken).
- Proficiency in MS Office (Microsoft Excel, Word, Powerpoint, etc.); Possess a positive and professional customer focus and can-do attitude, reliability, and strong sense of responsibility.
