Cần kỹ năng tiếng Anh tốt và khả năng truyền đạt technical/non-technical.

Primary Description: Jobgether · Vietnam (Remote)
Description: This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Data Scientist in Vietnam.
In this role, you will join a mission-driven, globally distributed environment where data plays a central role in advancing large-scale community and impact initiatives. You will work within a complex data ecosystem, transforming diverse data sources into reliable pipelines, dashboards, and insights that support strategic decision-making. The position offers broad exposure across programs, partnerships, and grant-funded initiatives, with a strong emphasis on ethical data use and accessibility. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, enabling leaders to measure outcomes, adapt strategies, and continuously improve impact. This role combines hands-on technical work with analytical thinking and stakeholder communication. It is well suited for someone who enjoys building resilient data foundations while influencing real-world outcomes at scale.
Accountabilities:
- Design, build, and maintain robust data pipelines and data models to support program outcomes, grant-funded activities, and long-term impact measurement
- Develop and maintain self-service dashboards and reports that enable teams and leadership to make informed, data-driven decisions
- Analyze trends and patterns across multiple datasets to surface actionable insights that guide strategy, partnerships, and program interventions
- Define and improve data processes, including ETL workflows, aggregation, and storage, to ensure efficiency, reliability, and scalability
- Collaborate with cross-functional data and technology teams to align metrics, methodologies, and reporting standards across the organization
- Proactively identify gaps, requirements, and opportunities to strengthen and evolve the broader data ecosystem
Requirements:
- Fluency in English, with the ability to clearly communicate complex findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Bachelor’s degree with at least five years of relevant experience, or a Master’s degree with at least three years of experience in data science, analytics, research, or a related field
- Strong programming experience, particularly with SQL and Python, including API integrations, authentication, pagination, and JSON data handling
- Hands-on experience with large-scale data processing and storage technologies such as Hadoop, Hive, Presto, and Spark
- Proven experience with data visualization and dashboarding tools, such as Apache Superset, Looker Studio, or similar platforms
- Solid working knowledge of collaborative tools, including Google Workspace and advanced spreadsheet usage
- Strong problem-solving skills, sound judgment in selecting analytical approaches, and a continuous learning mindset
- Familiarity with ethical data practices, privacy considerations, and responsible data management
