Senior Fullstack Developer
Nimbus Technology JSC, a fast-growing software solutions provider headquartered in Hanoi, Vietnam, is seeking a remote Senior Fullstack Developer to join its expert team. As part of Nimbus' globally distributed tech force, you’ll design and maintain scalable backend systems, APIs using NextJS and Node.js, and collaborate cross-functionally to ensure seamless application integration. The role also includes advanced database work with PostgreSQL and pgVector, and shipping reliable background processes using Trigger.dev. Preferred candidates will also bring experience in real-time data subscriptions, observability tooling (like OpenTelemetry or Sentry), and performant caching strategies. Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain server-side APIs using NextJS API routes and server components.
- Model and optimize PostgreSQL schemas, including vector data with pgVector.
- Develop and deploy background workflows with Trigger.dev, ensuring reliability and retry logic.
- Collaborate with frontend engineers to define data contracts and ensure seamless integration.
- Write and maintain unit and integration tests, achieving ≥80% coverage on business logic.
Required Skills:
- Expert in NextJS (API routes, server-side rendering) and Node.js with TypeScript.
- Deep knowledge of Supabase or equivalent PostgreSQL backends, including advanced query tuning and vector extensions.
- Proven experience setting up CI/CD pipelines in GitHub Actions.
- Strong API design (REST/GraphQL) and security best practices.
Preferred Competencies:
- Familiarity with real-time data subscriptions and caching strategies.
- Experience instrumenting observability (OpenTelemetry or Sentry) for backend services.
