Senior Software Engineer
InApps Technology, a leading software development outsourcing company based in Vietnam, is hiring a Senior Software Engineer for a remote, full-time, 6-month contract role starting July 1, 2025. The selected candidate will join a cross-functional squad focused on integrating Malaysian payment systems (FPX/DOBW) into a regional wealth management platform. This role requires active collaboration with banks, operational teams, and stakeholders like PayNet. Key responsibilities include building and maintaining full-stack solutions, contributing to mobile app development in React Native, and managing event-driven backend workflows. You’ll work closely with the Product Manager, Tech Lead, and engineers, with core working hours from 2:00–6:00 PM GMT+8. The ideal candidate has 4–8 years of software development experience with strong expertise in Node.js, TypeScript, and full-stack development. Knowledge of event-driven architecture, async messaging (e.g., Kafka), Temporal workflows, and mobile-first development will be advantageous. Key Responsibilities:
- Drive small to medium-sized, well-defined epics independently from conception to delivery
- Develop and maintain full-stack solutions for payment integration systems
- Collaborate with a cross-functional team (Product Manager, Tech Lead, other engineers)
- Work with complex backend workflows and event-driven architecture
- Contribute to mobile app development using React Native
- Participate in agile development processes and stakeholder communications
- Support system maintenance and operational tasks as needed
Requirements:
- 4-8 years of software development experience
- Strong track record of delivering complex projects in agile environments
- Experience with full-stack development and system integrations
- NodeJS (strong proficiency required)
- TypeScript
- RDBMS (PostgreSQL preferred)
- React-based frontend stacks (React, Next.js, React Native)
- NestJS framework experience
- Experience with PostgreSQL database design and optimization
