Role Description:
This is a full-time remote role for a Senior Backend Engineer specializing in Python, FastAPI, and AI Integration. The Senior Backend Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing backend services. This role involves writing clean, scalable code, integrating AI models, optimizing performance, and ensuring application security. Additionally, the engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and develop new features.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement backend systems using Python (FastAPI) framework to build an orchestration engine.
- Integrate large language models (LLMs) such as GPT, LLaMA, or Claude through APIs.
- Build APIs to enable frontend interaction with backend systems (agent creation, workflow automation).
- Develop and manage data storage solutions (PostgreSQL).
- Manage fine-tuning workflows for LLMs to meet customer-specific requirements.
- Ensure data security and compliance with enterprise standards.
- Optimize system performance and scalability for high usage.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in backend development with Python (FastAPI preferred).
- Experience working with AI/ML models (preferably OpenAI API or Hugging Face).
- Proficiency in database design and management (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
- Knowledge of microservices architecture and RESTful API development.
- Familiarity with deploying machine learning models in production environments.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
