Designer cum Front-end Developer
Gotik IT Outsourcing Development is hiring a remote full-time designer and front-end developer based in Vietnam, offering a competitive salary of up to USD 2,800 gross. The role requires working during PDT/PST hours (11am–7/8pm). You will be responsible for creating impactful brand-aligned logos, designing web layouts, and developing scalable front-end solutions for e-commerce brands. Tasks include translating wireframes into responsive HTML/CSS, building reusable UI components, enhancing image assets, and producing engaging GIFs and digital content for various platforms.
The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of experience in front-end development and design, along with a strong portfolio. Key skills include HTML, CSS, JavaScript, with in-depth knowledge of Vue.js (React is a plus), Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, and familiarity with Figma. Experience in responsive design, accessibility, cross-browser compatibility, and performance optimization is essential. Candidates must be fluent in English and comfortable working according to U.S. Pacific Time. Proficiency with Bootstrap, AJAX, jQuery, and Git is also required.

Responsibilities
- Design and develop unique and impactful logos that align with brand identity. Creating layouts or designing elements for websites.
- Lead development of scalable, high-performance front-end solutions for multiple e-commerce brands.
- Build and maintain reusable UI components and ensure cross-browser compatibility.
- Translate UI/UX wireframes into fully functional, mobile-responsive interfaces.
- Manipulate photos to enhance, edit, and retouch images for marketing and promotional materials.
- Create engaging GIFs from video content to be used across various digital platforms.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to produce visually compelling content for social media, websites, and other digital platforms.
- Maintain brand consistency across all visual designs and communications.
- Stay current with the latest front-end technologies and best practices.
- Create high-converting, responsive landing pages from scratch.
- Take Figma files and accurately translate them into functional HTML/CSS and connect them to backend systems as needed.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional experience in front-end web development and designer. Proven experience with a strong portfolio.
- Fluent in English (verbal and written).
- Must be available to work Pacific Time (U.S.) hours.
- Deep expertise in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern JS frameworks (Vue.js strongly preferred; React is a plus).
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Photoshop and Illustrator.
- General knowledge of Figma, exporting assets and design elements.
- Strong understanding of responsive design, accessibility, and performance optimization.
- Proficiency with Bootstrap, AJAX, and jQuery.
- Familiarity with Git and collaborative development workflows.
- Prior experience working in an e-commerce or direct-to-consumer environment.
- Experience in digital marketing and social media design is a plus.
