Fullstack Engineer
Second Talent, a cross-border tech recruitment and HR services company headquartered in Singapore, is seeking a remote Fullstack Engineer with strong knowledge in PHP and Node.js to join their globally distributed team. This is a full-time, remote position based in Vietnam, primarily working during US business hours (11:00 PM – 1:30 AM Vietnam Time) with potential flexibility after probation. The engineer will collaborate with international team members to design, build, and maintain scalable web applications and modernize legacy systems. Compensation ranges from $1,500 – $2,500 USD/month, with structured reporting to a US-based team.
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of professional software development experience, with deep expertise in PHP (Laravel, Symfony) and Node.js. Experience building and integrating RESTful APIs, utilizing cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and working with CI/CD tools like Git is essential. Familiarity with JavaScript/TypeScript and frontend frameworks like ReactJS is a plus. Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using PHP and Node.js.
- Collaborate on migrating legacy systems to modern, decoupled architectures.
- Implement backend services and RESTful APIs to support web and mobile applications.
- Work with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, customer-focused solutions.
- Optimize application performance and ensure scalability.
- Integrate cloud services and utilize Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or similar cloud technologies (AWS, Azure).
Requirements:
Experience: Minimum 5+ years of professional software development experience.
Strong expertise in PHP and Node.js.
Technical Skills:
