Position Summary
As a Senior DevOps Engineer at GTEMAS, you will be a key driver in bridging software development and IT operations. You'll architect and maintain scalable infrastructure, champion automation, and guide our teams in adopting DevOps best practices. Key Responsibilities
- Architect and implement scalable, high-availability infrastructure solutions on AWS.
- Lead the management and optimization of Kubernetes clusters to ensure robust deployment processes.
- Define and enforce Infrastructure as Code (IaC) standards using Terraform.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with software engineers to embed DevOps principles across the software development lifecycle.
- Monitor system performance and proactively address infrastructure issues and bottlenecks.
- Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline integration and delivery workflows.
- Participate in on-call rotations and implement strategies to enhance system reliability.
- Maintain and continuously improve infrastructure documentation and operational runbooks.
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to a culture of engineering excellence.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 5–7 years of hands-on experience in a DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering role.
- Advanced expertise in AWS services and Terraform.
- Deep experience managing Kubernetes-based infrastructure.
- DevOps or cloud-related certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, CKA) are a strong plus.
- Proficiency in scripting with Python, Bash, or similar languages.
