Senior DevOps Engineer
High Five is hiring a remote Senior DevOps Engineer to support its clients across Southeast Asia. This full-time, hands-on role involves managing and automating cloud infrastructure, streamlining CI/CD pipelines, and maintaining the health and security of scalable systems across cloud environments. You’ll be instrumental in supporting developers through modern DevOps practices while building efficient deployment and monitoring systems. As part of a fast-moving, remote-first technology environment, you’ll work with leading-edge tools and services while ensuring high system availability. To succeed in this role, candidates should bring a minimum of 5 years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or cloud infrastructure, alongside deep familiarity with AWS, Linux systems, and CI/CD pipelines. Expertise in container orchestration tools like Kubernetes or ECS is essential. Strong knowledge of infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Ansible, Packer, Helm) and observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK) is a must. Experience with cloud security practices, IAM, and secrets management is also required. The position requires fluency in English and the ability to work effectively in a fully remote setting.

About the Role
We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to design, build, and maintain the infrastructure and tooling that powers our Client's engineering workflows and production systems. You will play a critical role in enabling secure, scalable, and high-performing platforms supporting developers through automation, observability, and modern deployment practices.
This is a hands-on, high-impact role for someone who thrives on ownership and wants to help scale a robust DevOps culture in a fast-moving technology environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and manage secure, scalable infrastructure across cloud environments.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines that support reliable and efficient deployment workflows.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and environment management using infrastructure-as-code practices.
- Implement and manage observability systems to monitor availability, performance, and system health.
- Support deployment and lifecycle management of containerized applications and services.
- Implement security practices that comply with standards to protect the organization’s data and infrastructure.
- Maintain clear documentation of infrastructure, deployment processes, and operational practices.
- Work independently with minimal supervision and proactively solve problems.
Skills and Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or cloud infrastructure roles, with a focus on high-availability production systems.
- Strong experience with AWS (or equivalent cloud platforms) and Linux-based systems.
- Deep understanding of CI/CD systems and container orchestration using platforms like Kubernetes or ECS.
- Good understanding of virtualization and networking concepts.
- Proficient with tools such as: Prometheus, Thanos, Grafana, ELK, Docker, EKS, Kubernetes, Ansible, Terraform, Packer, Helm, GitHub.
- Solid knowledge of IAM, secrets management, and security hardening in cloud-native environments.
- Fluent in English and familiar with fully remote work setting.
