<h3>Role Overview</h3>
<p>We are seeking an experienced Business Development Expert – Crypto Acquiring/Payments to drive merchant and PSP partnerships, scale BloFin’s acquiring network, and expand our payment acceptance capabilities across EEA, LATAM, Africa, and APAC. The ideal candidate has strong experience in fintech or crypto payments, understands the acquiring ecosystem (merchant acquiring, card issuing, processing, and compliance), and can translate strategic goals into commercial success.</p>
<h3>Key Responsibilities</h3>
<ul>
<li><strong>Partnership Development</strong>
<ul>
<li>Identify, evaluate, and onboard PSPs, acquiring banks, liquidity providers, and crypto on/off-ramp partners to expand BloFin Pay’s global acceptance and settlement network.</li>
<li>Build strategic partnerships with high-value verticals (e-commerce, OTA, gaming, FX/OTC brokers, fintech platforms) requiring crypto payment, stablecoin settlement, or hybrid fiat–crypto flows.</li>
<li>Maintain strong relationships with card schemes (Visa, Mastercard), virtual card issuers, and payment aggregators to enhance card acceptance and wallet funding capabilities.</li>
</ul>
</li>
<li><strong>Merchant & Channel Growth</strong>
<ul>
<li>Develop and execute go-to-market strategies to scale merchant adoption and transaction volume across priority regions (EU, LATAM, Africa, SEA).</li>
<li>Drive merchant pipeline growth through affiliates, resellers, PSP partners, and channel alliances.</li>
<li>Optimize merchant economics through routing, pricing, and risk controls to improve conversion and profitability.</li>
</ul>
</li>
<li><strong>Commercial & Product Alignment</strong>
<ul>
<li>Partner with product, compliance, and operations teams to ensure new features, payment routes, KYC/KYB flows, and settlement processes meet commercial and regulatory requirements.</li>
<li>Translate market intelligence into product enhancements—pricing, payout schedules, settlement currencies, risk rules, and merchant onboarding flows.</li>
<li>Support API integration discussions with merchants and PSPs; ensure technical readiness and smooth go-live.</li>
</ul>
</li>
<li><strong>Revenue, Performance & Market Intelligence</strong>
<ul>
<li>Own volume, revenue, and merchant activation OKRs; deliver measurable growth every bi-monthly cycle.</li>
<li>Track and report performance metrics including GMV, approval rates, cost of acceptance, chargeback trends, and ROI.</li>
<li>Produce competitive intelligence and market landscape reports to support executive decision-making and regional strategy planning.</li>

</ul>
<h3>Qualifications</h3>
<ul>
<li>3–5+ years of experience in BD, partnerships, or commercial roles in payments, acquiring, fintech, or crypto (PSP / issuing / acquiring experience strongly preferred).</li>
<li>Direct network and working relationships with PSPs, processors, merchant aggregators, issuing/acquiring banks, and card schemes.</li>
<li>Strong understanding of cross-border payments, card acquiring, settlement operations, crypto on/off-ramp flows, virtual card issuance, and merchant risk management.</li>
<li>Demonstrated ability to negotiate and close complex commercial deals, including multi-region payment partnerships.</li>
<li>Proven ability to work with product, compliance, AML/KYC, and risk teams to bring new payment routes and merchants live.</li>
<li>Fluent in English; additional languages (Spanish, Portuguese, French, Arabic) are a plus for emerging markets.</li>
