Responsibilities

Design and implement robust, scalable, and maintainable backend services using TypeScript (Node.js).
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
Optimize application performance and ensure high availability of backend services.
Write clean, well-tested, and documented code.
Develop and maintain APIs (RESTful/GraphQL) for internal and external consumption.
Implement security, authentication, and authorization best practices.
Participate in code reviews, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to engineering best practices.
Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in a timely manner.
Review code & support team members.

Requirements

5+ years of backend engineering experience, with at least 3 years using TypeScript/Node.js.
Solid understanding of system design, data structures, and algorithms.
Experience with databases (SQL and NoSQL) and designing efficient schemas.
Strong knowledge of API design (REST, GraphQL) and integration patterns.
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
Familiarity with testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha, etc.).
Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and logging tools.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in an agile environment.
Excellent English communication and collaboration skills.
